SCHOOL TOUR INITIATIVE (STI) is an initiative of Beats foundation Ghana which is here to bring out the best in needy children raised by single Parents. we will be counseling ,empowering, motivating ,coaching and be a Guardian to such students on campus.
Under this initiative, Children from such homes, will be given support whiles they are on campus based on their needs. We will be interested in their academic career and also be there to hear them out as to the challenges they face in their teenage. STI will create a platform for students to learn harder and bring out the best in themselves for a brighter future. SCHOOL TOUR INITIATIVE (STI) it to focus on giving attention to such children through counseling, coaching, training giving them hope, purpose, fully fulfilled and become an asset to the community, the society and the country at large.
Purpose of SCHOOL TOUR INITIATIVE (STI)
The Purpose of STI is to create and Bring out the best in a needy school child who is been cared for by a single Parent. STI is there to provide Professional counseling, mentorship, Coaching,Provide TLC ie. Tender Loving Care to such children to heal their emotional hurts, and Psychological behaviors. STI initiative is to empower such children to discover their Purpose, walk in their Purpose and fulfill their Purpose to see their Dreams come Alive. STI as Beats foundation Ghana initiative has seen that, Broken homes could take place in different forms. This could be as a result of the death of a parent or both parents. It could also be as a result of divorce or the inability to trace some members of the nuclear family as a result of kidnapping or other reasons. Broken homes has stunt the academic progress of the affected
children.
Some of the Challenges such Children Face
Educational
Slowed academic development is another common way that divorce affects children. The emotional stress of a divorce alone can be enough to stunt your child’s academic progress, but the lifestyle changes and instability of a broken family can contribute to poor educational outcomes. This poor academic progress can stem from a number of factors, including instability in the home environment, inadequate financial resources and inconsistent routines
Social
Divorce affects children’s social relationships in several ways. First, some children act out their distress about their broken family by acting aggressive and by engaging in bullying behavior, both of which can negatively affect peer relationships. Other children may experience anxiety, which can make it difficult for them to seek positive social interactions and engage in develop -mentally beneficial activities such as teen sports. Teens from broken families might develop a cynical attitude toward relationships and harbor feelings of mistrust, both toward their parents and potential romantic partners, explains psychologist Carl Pickhardt in the article, ‘’Parental Divorce and adolescents” published Psychology Today.
High Levels Of Parent – Child Disagreements
If children are confused with different things going on in the family or at school and they have feelings of frustration, more disagreements may occur. Behavior problems tend to increase for boys when a step-father is introduced to the family.

Parental Guidance and TLC (Tender loving Care):
Under STI ,we will play the role of parents to such needy children on campus, Give them the parents care, visit them during their school visitation hours, and show them sense of belongingness. And the Express of Tender love care to them to heal them emotionally and Psychologically.
Coaching, Counselling and Empowerments:
We will get expertise in counseling to help us in counseling them in their decision making, coaching and give them good mentorship to become great stewards.Also empowering them to strive hard to overcome all odds to become who God has destined them to be and to discover their God given Purpose on earth
Vocational Training Approach:
We will create room for those children that are academically not too good ,and are not excelling in education aspect. And get them into vocational,
Training skills like catering, fashion designing etc. In order to acquire a skill to be enable them to have a purpose in life
Scholarship Scheme:
Under this ,we will get some partnerships, sponsors from individuals, companies, institutions to help us offer sponsorship to the needy children who are been care for by a single parent, who are brilliant and excellence in their academics to achieve their dreams and Purpose for a brighter tomorrow
Career Planning and Development:
There will lay down structures that will guide needy children by Single Parents, to help them know the courses they need to embark on and develop their career for a bright and brighter future
