Beats Foundation started on the note that, growing up with a single mother with my two kids sisters after my parents had divorced, emotionally, mentally, psychologically ,academically life was not easy for me as a young girl. Being on Apam Senior High School campus for 4 years, I didn’t have any parent coming over to check up on me, due to my mother having to work all the time for the up keep of me and my kid sisters, and it really affected me. I saw that single parents really suffer taking care of their children especially if the parents don’t have a good paying job or skill that can fetch them money. I saw most friends on campus putting up bad behaviors to take care of themselves because of their situation. So after the university I BEATRICE BONNEY GYASI brought the idea up to friends who happens to experienced same. And this is how Beats foundation started, to at least help such students who are been raised by single parents and help the single parents as well.
